Islamabad, January 18, 2020 (PPI-OT): A certificate awarding ceremony was organized at the conclusion of a one-week training course on “Leadership and Management” for District and Sessions Judges at the Federal Judicial Academy, Islamabad, on January 18, 2020 in which Mr. Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin Ahmed, Hon’ble Judge, Supreme Court of Pakistan was invited as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the participants, Hon’ble Judge, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Mr. Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin said, “Our district judiciary needs strong, vibrant and fearless leadership to achieve excellence. Through their leadership and management, they should try to motivate and engage those around them, create a culture of trust, compassion and care. They should manage things and lead people around them in such a manner that administration of expeditious justice to the litigant public becomes a reality in our society at the grassroots level.”
Hon’ble Judge lauded the efforts of the Academy to arrange such a meaningful weeklong training course for the heads of district judiciary. “They would have definitely gained a lot from this training course, I mean, knowledge, wisdom and skills regarding successful judicial leadership and management, “the Honourable Judge of Apex Court observed.
Earlier, Director General of the Academy, Mr. Hayat Ali Shah, presented a brief overview of the training course. He heavily underscored the importance of leadership and management roles and responsibilities for the District and Sessions Judges. At the end of the ceremony, certificates were awarded to the successful trainees by the Chief Guest.
