CHAMAN: Levies Force, Killa Abdullah, on Tuesday claimed to have recovered three abducted businessmen in a successful operation conducted in Hazar Ganji, a far flung area of Tehsil Gulistan.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner, Killa Abdullah, Tariq Javed Mengal, said that three businessmen of Chaman, a bordering city with Afghanistan, were abducted for ransom six months ago.
Tariq Javed Mengal said that kidnappers demanded an amount of Rs 6 crore ransom from families. Deputy Commissioner, Killa Abdullah added that the three abducted businessmen were recovered in an operation conducted by Levies Force, Killa Abdullah at a house in Hazar Ganji area of Tehsil Gulistan, District Killa Abdullah of Balochistan. He said two kidnappers were also arrested during operation.
One of the abducted businessmen Haji Shah Wali on the occasion said that they were kidnapped from Chaman area and kidnappers demanded Rs. 6 crore ransom from their families.
