QUETTA:Balochistan government Tuesday imposed ban on display of all kinds of weapons, pillion riding, strikes, slogans and the use of tinted glasses on vehicle in the province except Quetta and Lasbella districts during the local bodies election with effect from 28th to 30th May, 2022.

According to a notification issued by the Government of Balochistan, Home and Tribal Affairs Department, the ban has been imposed on the following practices in the province, except Quetta and Lasbella districts, during the local bodies election 2022 with effect from 28 to 30 May 2022: (1) carrying/ displaying all kinds of weapons; (2) ban on pillion riding; (3) strikes / slogans and use of tinted glasses on vehicles. The notification further says, “The ban would not be applicable on the personnel of law enforcing agencies.”
