A man was killed after being struck by lightening in Shah Noorani Kohun area of Wadh in district Khuzdar on Thursday.

According to rescue sources, the man namely Muhammad was killed in lightening strike in Shah Noorani Kohun area of Wadh in district Khuzdar. His body was shifted to a Wadh hospital and later handed over to the heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities.

Separately, a woman committed suicide over family dispute in Goth Allah Dena area of Usta Muhammad on Thursday.

According to Usta Muhammad police, the woman wife of Abdul Razaq committed suicide by consuming poison in Goth Allah Dena area of Usta Muhammad. The motive behind the suicide was reported to be a family strife. The police was investigating the case of the incident through different angles.
