The bodies of four members of the same family from Delhi Colony, who died while shopping at Gul Plaza, have been identified today through DNA analysis, while the situation regarding two other relatives remains uncertain.
Those who died include 32-year-old Muhammad Saad son of Irfan, 35-year-old Misbah Perveen daughter of Irfan, 30-year-old Nimra daughter of Irfan, and 14-year-old Maryam daughter of Noor Ahmed.
On Sunday afternoon, the bodies of the three women and the young man were handed over to their heirs from the Edhi morgue at the Edhi Home in Sohrab Goth. The bodies were transported by Edhi ambulances.
Meanwhile, the identification of two other members of the six-person family is still pending. The individuals yet to be formally identified include a woman, Kausar Perveen, and a man, Ashraf Ali.
