Mainly dry weather forecast in the country, light rain expected in Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir

The Meteorological Department has forecast mainly dry weather for most parts of the country on Wednesday, however, partly cloudy weather with light rain is expected in some areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Morning temperatures were recorded in different cities of the country. The temperature was 14 degrees Celsius in Islamabad, 20 degrees Celsius in Lahore, 25 degrees Celsius in Karachi, 18 degrees Celsius in Peshawar, and 9 degrees Celsius in Quetta. In other areas like Gilgit and Murree, the temperature was 8 degrees Celsius and 10 degrees Celsius, while 13 degrees Celsius was recorded in Muzaffarabad.

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Meteorological Department has forecast partly cloudy weather and light rain in Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla. In Srinagar, the weather is expected to remain dry despite the clouds, while Jammu will remain completely dry. The morning temperature in the region varied, with 8 degrees Celsius recorded in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag. The temperature in Leh was 0 degrees Celsius, 7 degrees Celsius in Shopian and Baramulla, while 18 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jammu.
