Chiniot:An elderly man suffered critical burns when he was set on fire by a suspect over some monetary dispute in Lalian tehsil, Chiniot.

Accordig to police, the incident took place in the Muhammadwala police precincts where a 70-year man was torched. The injured was identified as Sultan. A suspect named Wajid poured petrol on him and set him on fire over monetary dispute. A case was registered against the accused.

Sultan was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital where the doctors referred him to Allied Hospital, Faisalabad due to lack of burn unit in the THQ hospital.
