GHOTKI:In what appeared to be an act of brutality, a man killed his mother, sister and two nieces over a property dispute in A-Section police area here on Thursday night, police said.
Accused Imran hacked them to death with repeated blows of an axe. The victims were identified as Maryam, 55, Sumeria, 25, Iqra, 9, and Ayait, 6.
Bodies were sent for autopsies. The accused is on the run. Raids were being carried out to apprehend the killer.
Police reached the crime scene and collected forensic evidence besides recording statements from the area people.
