LARKANA:Armed men shot dead a villager on VIP Road in Larkana Thursday.
According to rescue sources, armed men shot dead a 45-year-old villager, Amanullah Abro, a resident of village Dhani Bux Abro located near Garhi Yasin, on VIP Road in the city and fled to an unknown destination after the swift operation.
The police shifted his body to Chandka Medical College Hospital for legal formalities. The man was returning from District and Sessions Court after attending a murder case hearing when he was targeted by his rivals, alleged his nephew Ihsan Abro. He said they have an old dispute with the influential Burira community. He said armed men Badal Balhro, Qalandar Bux, Siddique Balhro and others killed his uncle today.
On the other hand, the police said that a year ago, a young man of Burira community was killed during resisting a snatching crime near Naeen Gud village of Dokri, an allegation of which was levelled on deceased Amanullah Abro. No case could be registered till filing this report.
