LAHORE: A man shot dead his wife in Badami Bagh area of Lahore on Tuesday.
According to the police, the accused opened fire at his wife Saima. As a result, she suffered severe bullet injuries and died. The accused fled to unknown destination after swift operation.
Her body was brought to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. The police have lodged a report and started an investigation. No arrest could be made till filing this report. The parents of victim said that their daughter had been killed without any justification. They demanded of the IGP and Chief Minister to take notice of the incident, ensure arrest of the accused and take him to task.
