Match Officials Announced for Pakistan vs Australia One Day Series

The International Cricket Council (ICC) today confirmed the officiating team for the upcoming One Day International (ODI) series between Pakistan and Australia, which will take place from May 30 to June 4. The series will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore, with renowned Sri Lankan official Graeme Labrooy appointed as the match referee for all three matches.

Graeme Labrooy, who had an illustrious career with nine Tests and 44 ODIs from 1986 to 1992, will oversee the proceedings.

On-field umpiring duties will be the responsibility of elite panel members Ahsan Raza, Richard Kettleborough, and Kumar Dharmasena. These umpires will be joined by emerging talents from various ICC panels, providing a blend of experienced expertise and fresh perspectives.

For the first match, which will be played on May 30 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Asif Yaqoob will partner with Kumar Dharmasena. Yaqoob is part of the ICC Emerging Umpires Panel, bringing his developing skills to the international stage.

For the second ODI, which will be held on June 2 at Lahore’s famous Gaddafi Stadium, Faisal Khan Afridi from the ICC International Panel of Umpires will supervise the match alongside Richard Kettleborough.

In the final encounter on June 4 in Lahore, Ahsan Raza will join Kumar Dharmasena as the main on-field umpires. Nasir Hussain, another member of the ICC International Panel, will strengthen the officiating team as the fourth umpire.
