Mayor Honours Slain Leader’s Legacy of Public Service and Democratic Values

Karachi’s Mayor, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, today commemorated the 22nd death anniversary of Shaheed Abdullah Murad, hailing him as a distinguished leader who devoted his political career to the well-being of the populace, the advancement of democracy, and the development of the province.

In his message, the Mayor stated that Shaheed Abdullah Murad was a dignified and public-spirited statesman whose life was dedicated to the welfare of the people of Sindh.

He remarked that the late politician consistently addressed public concerns with gravity, channelling his political efforts towards the betterment of the citizenry. He was described as a courageous and high-principled figure who fostered a strong bond with the masses, earning acclaim for his simple and people-centric political style.

Mayor Wahab further noted that Shaheed Abdullah Murad was not merely a sagacious and competent politician but also an individual of profound moral character and unwavering principles. His contributions and political activism hold a significant position in the public political landscape of Sindh.

He added that the services and sacrifices of the departed leader would be perpetually remembered, ensuring his name remains respected and honoured throughout the political annals of Sindh.
