Karachi, April 03, 2019 (PPI-OT): A meeting was convened for women entrepreneurs regarding awareness about emerging business opportunities and export procedures on April 02, 2019 at TDAP Karachi. Meeting was chaired by Mr. Azhar Ali Dahar, Director General, TDAP Karachi (RD-South) and attended by team of RD South and women entrepreneurs from Karachi women chambers who are working in different sectors.
Director General Mr. Azhar Ali Dahar apprised the participants about the opportunities present in the market for the women entrepreneurs especially getting financing from different Banks since the banks are offering financing on low interest rates to women as compared to men. He further advised the respective participants of Women Chambers to get them self-registered with Directorate General of Trade organization as it would give many benefits to the women entrepreneurs.
DG Mr. Azhar Ali Dahar informed the participants that there are many international organizations which provide trainings on Halal makeup products preparation almost free of cost and this facility should be availed. It was decided in the meeting that TDAP would engage these organizations and the banks for providing the training and the financial support to women entrepreneurs. In the end, DG Mr. Azhar Ali Dahar assured women entrepreneurs the support of TDAP on their proposal for any workshops/trainings they plan to hold for the capacity building.
