In a high-level meeting between the leadership of the Surjani Association of Trade and Industry and the Karachi Police today, emphasis was placed on the immediate need for better security measures to protect Karachi’s business community.
Leading the four-member delegation of the association, President Danish Malik held talks with Additional IGP Karachi, Azad Khan, at the Karachi Police Office. The dialogue focused on the persistent challenges faced by traders and industrialists and reviewed strategies to enhance collaboration between law enforcement agencies and business entities.
Karachi Police Chief, Azad Khan, promised comprehensive support to ensure the safety and operational ease of traders, which was appreciated by the delegation. Malik and his team expressed gratitude for the police’s efforts to maintain and improve the security situation and recognized the important role it plays in fostering a favorable business environment.
Both parties acknowledged the importance of ongoing dialogue and collaborative strategies to address the long-standing law and order issues facing the city’s commercial sectors. This meeting is seen as a positive step towards a strong alliance between Karachi’s law enforcement agencies and its dynamic business community.
