Following a meeting of the peace committee held today under the chairmanship of Corporation Mayor Abdul Rauf Ghori, the city administration has been directed to ensure strict security and the provision of public services for the procession on the occasion of the Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali (RA).
Deputy Mayor Sameera Baloch also attended this high-level meeting, in which respected scholars of the city and members of the committee participated to deliberate on the arrangements for this important religious event.
The primary focus of the discussions was the maintenance of law and order, provision of comprehensive security for the procession, and ensuring the best condition of public facilities for the participants.
The religious scholars present at the meeting informed Mayor Ghori of the need for complete sanitation and improvement of municipal facilities along the designated routes of the procession.
In response, the Mayor issued immediate instructions to the relevant authorities, tasking them with fulfilling the demands raised by the community leaders as soon as possible.
Mayor Abdul Rauf Ghori stated that joint efforts would be made to ensure that this commemorative event is peaceful and organized, so as to prevent any inconvenience to the mourners or the public.
Rescue 1122 officials were also instructed to remain alert for immediate assistance and medical aid in case of any potential incident during the event.
