Minister: (Opposition used corruption money for buying votes in Senate elections: Shafqat)

ISLAMABAD:Minister for Federal Education Shafqat Mahmood has said the opposition has used the corruption money for buying votes in Senate elections.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the disequilibrium in number of votes was due to horse-trading. The Minister said in light of Supreme Court’s verdict, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should have to take steps for reforming the system so that future elections could be secured from horse-trading.
