LAHORE: MNAs Rana Qasim Noon, Mian Shafique Arain, Tahir Iqbal, Farooq-e-Azam, Abdul Ghafoor Watto and Samiullah Chaudhry MPA met with Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office here on Friday and discussed matters of mutual interests.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM said every promise had been fulfilled by the incumbent government. After Multan, the foundation stone of the south Punjab secretariat building would also be laid in Bahawalpur soon, he added. “A development package has been devised for Bahawalpur and I will visit it shortly,” he continued and regretted the past rulers befooled the people of south Punjab with hollow slogans.
He said that the resources meant for the development of south Punjab were spent on other districts. He vowed that no one would be able to make a dacoity on the resources of south Punjab in future.
The Chief Minister maintained that the commitment and direction of government were right adding that governance modal has been transformed for better service delivery. “I do not believe in the dogma of one-man show, as the past government, and decisions are made with consultations while taking everybody along,” he stressed.
