Mostly hot and dry weather expected in most parts of the country

The Meteorological Department has forecast today that the weather will remain mostly hot and dry across the country, with chances of intense heat and humidity levels especially in the plains.

Morning temperature data shows that 31°C was recorded in Islamabad, 34°C in Lahore, 29°C in Karachi, 33°C in Peshawar, 26°C in Quetta, 22°C in Gilgit, 19°C in Murree, and 25°C in Muzaffarabad.

These conditions are expected to persist, prompting residents to take necessary precautions against the intense heat. According to the weather forecast, particularly higher temperatures may be faced in the plains, which can impact daily activities and pose health risks.

Authorities have advised the public to drink plenty of water, avoid outdoor activities during peak heat times, and remain alert as this dry and hot spell continues.
