Motiwala’s appointment as TDAP to promote exports, hopes industrialists

KARACHI: Riaz Uddin, President SITE Association of Industry (SAI), Saleem Parekh, Chief Coordinator and former President, Jawed Bilwani, Vice Chairman BMG, Abdul Kadir Bilwani, SVP SITE, Muhammad Hussain Moosani, VP SITE and members of Executive Committee, on Monday welcomed the appointment of renowned industrialist Muhammad Zubair Motiwala as Chief Executive Officer of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan.

The leaders of SAI in a statement said that Zubair Motiwala needed no introduction and his services for the trade and industry were highly commendable, adding as Chairman BMG, Motiwala is making efforts to resolve the issues being faced by the business community in general.

Motiwala has rendered great services as President SAI and KCCI. He also served as Chairman Sindh Board of Investment and has been on the Board of Directors of several institutions and organizations -both public and private.

Business Leaders expressed the confidence that as CEO TDAP Zubair Motiwala would devise effective strategy to promote exports, and reduce trade imbalance. They prayed that he would also be able to use the office of TDAP to get relief for exporters against their problems pertaining to various govt departments and help take the country out of current economic crisis, together with playing his role in getting easy access in the international markets and for stabilizing economic relations with partner countries.
