SHIKARPUR:A motorcyclist was killed and his other relative injured in a road accident at Jahan Khan Bus Stop within the jurisdiction of Jahan Khan police station on Thursday.
According to a report, the accident occurred at Jahan Khan Bus Stop near Lakhi when a speeding coaster hit the motorcycle. As a result of heavy collision, motorcyclist identified as Abdul Qadeer Qureshi, aged 50, died on the spot while his other relative Abdul Fareed Qureshi was seriously injured who was shifted to area hospital for medical treatment.
The body was handed over to his heirs after completing medico legal formalities from a government hospital. Area police have arrested the coaster driver and started an investigation. Deceased Abdul Qadeer Qureshi was going to his native village Chak from Sukkur when the road accident happened. No FIR was registered till late evening.
