Quetta:To pay glowing tributes to the health workers serving on the front line against covid-19 pandemic, a function under the aegis of Motorway police was arranged at Provincial Headquarter of IPI.
Dostain Khan Jamaldini, Secretary Health Department was the chief guest of the event. Smart contingent of motorway police presented guard of honour to Secretary Health Department and health workers.
On the occasion, Director General Health Services Balochistan Dr. Shakir Baloch, DIG Motorway Police Ali Shair Jhakrani, Provincial Coordinator IPI Dr. Ishaq Panezai, District Health Officer Quetta Dr. Ahmed Zaman Jamali, Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Zaid Hospital Dr. Ghafar Baloch, Staff Officer Shoukat Baloch and others were also present.
Addressing the function, Dostain Khan Jamaldini Secretary Health Department said doctors and healthcare staff were active to ensure safety of people from novel corona virus. At the end, shields and gifts from the motorway police were presented to health workers to recognize their services in COVID-19 pandemic.
