KARACHI: Muggers killed a citizen in Gulshan Chowrangi in Karachi when he offered them resistance during the robbery on the second day of Eid, police said.
According to the police, Turab Zaidi, the father of three children withdrew money from the ATM of a private bank and when he came out, the robbers rushed to him and looted his money and mobile but he offered them resistance, upon which they shot him dead.
The robbers fled to unknown destination after swift operation. Following the incident, a police team rushed to the scene and started a search operation for the criminals. The body was shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
