MWL organizes Holy Qur’an contest in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The International Organization for Qur’an and Sunnah, an affiliate of the Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL), recently organized a Qur’an competition in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Islamic Presidium and the Holy Qur’an Memorization Society.

As many as 44 girls and boys took part in the two sections of the 13th edition of the competition, held in the presence of a large number of religious and diplomatic personalities.

Speakers at the event expressed their happiness over the continuous development of the Holy Qur’an contest in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They also urged the competitors to abide by the religious ethics and morals of the Holy Qur’an and to carry on its memorization.

The participants expressed appreciation of Custodian the Two Holy Mosques King Salman for the support extended to the study and memorization of the Holy Qur’an and Saudi Arabia’s efforts in serving Islam and Muslims around the globe. They also commended the efforts of the Muslim World League and the International Organization for Qur’an and Sunnah in their efforts to serve Qur’an worldwide. The event came to an end with the distribution of awards among the winners.
