Naseerabad school students, teachers protest in front of police station against tenth theft

Students and teachers of Nasirabad Main Primary School staged a sit-in at the local police station today, protesting against the tenth theft in their institution, ironically, the school is located between the police station and the Station House Officer’s residence.

In the demonstration held on the appeal of the Citizen’s Alliance, a large number of students and teachers marched from their school to the police station, and chanted strong slogans against the alleged inaction of the police.

The procession was led by social figures Singhar Noonari, Mashooq Badani, Abdul Wahab Brohi, and Ejaz Shaikh.

Speaking to the media, the leaders expressed their disappointment and said that even educational institutions are no longer safe. They reported that in the latest incident, unknown thieves broke the locks on the school gate and fled with two batteries from the solar power system.

The protesters demanded the immediate recovery of the stolen goods and the swift arrest of the culprits, calling for strict legal action against them.

The organizers issued a warning that if the authorities do not meet their demands, the protests will continue daily in front of the police station after school hours.
