Islamabad, June 24, 2020 (PPI-OT): National Assembly Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting has directed PTV Management to hold an impartial investigation regarding failing to stop the telecast of Program “Rising Pakistan” on 5th of this month, in which Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir was not shown in the map of Pakistan.
The Committee issued this direction during its meeting held in Islamabad today (Wednesday) with Chairman Mian Javed Latif in the chair. Information Minister Syed Shibli Faraz informed the meeting that a high-level investigation Committee has already been constituted to probe into the matter and outcome of the inquiry report would be shared with this august Committee.
