Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday said that uninterrupted water supply to every citizen during the summer season must be ensured.
These views were expressed by him while chairing a meeting to review progress on the Sui Master Plan and conduct a detailed assessment of ongoing development projects.
He said that the Civil Administration and the Public Health Engineering Department should jointly take immediate measures, adding that the provision of basic facilities to citizens must be ensured at the earliest. The Balochistan Chief Minister issued directives to the concerned authorities to further accelerate the implementation of the Sui Master Plan and complete the project within the stipulated timeframe.
During the meeting, approval was accorded to key measures for the protection of the urban population and environmental improvement. Directives were also issued to the concerned authorities to relocate the flare stack away from residential areas.
Expressing concern over water scarcity in Sui city, Bugti directed the concerned authorities to ensure the provision of clean drinking water as a top priority at all costs.
