Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia are facing temporary disruption in essential document services, as the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) office in Madinah has suspended operations for the upcoming Hajj season 2026, effective immediately from April 2026. The suspension, announced by NADRA on X today, is specifically scheduled for the annual Hajj period. The move will affect individuals who wish to process their National Identity Cards or other important documents at the Madinah facility during the stipulated period.
To mitigate the inconvenience caused by this temporary closure, authorities have boosted the workforce at the NADRA Registration Center in Jeddah. This aims to accommodate the increased demand for services and ensure that Pakistani expatriates can still access necessary consular assistance.
