Islamabad, November 24, 2020 (PPI-OT): To celebrate the Universal Children’s Day, the Ministry of Human Rights arranged an online essay writing competition for children from 7 to 15 years of age, on the topic, ‘Write for Rights’ with the word limit of 200 words. Children all across Pakistan were encouraged to share their entries in Urdu and English language through MoHR’s social media handles. The competition was announced on the 5th of November and the deadline for the submission of entries was 12th of November 2020.
MoHR received over 300 entries from all over Pakistan in Urdu and English language. All the entries were reviewed by the review committee and the names of 15 winners were announced on Ministry of Human Rights’ social media handles and the official website on 20th November, the Universal Children’s Day. Ministry of Human Rights will mail prizes to the winners and certificates to all the participants of the competition.
