Nations Urge Peaceful Conflict Resolution Amidst Economic Fears

Pakistan and Australia have voiced profound apprehension regarding the extensive ramifications of global conflicts on the world economy, particularly impacting developing nations, underscoring the critical necessity for the pacific settlement of disputes.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar affirmed Pakistan”s unwavering dedication to fostering dialogue and constructive engagement between parties. This commitment was conveyed during a recent telephone discussion with Australia”s Foreign Minister, Penny Wong.

During their conversation, Mr. Dar briefed his Australian counterpart on the recent “Islamabad Talks” which took place on the 11th and 12th of the current month.

Minister Wong commended Dar’s efforts and acknowledged Pakistan’s significant role in facilitating discussions between Iran and the United States. She further lauded Pakistan’s sustained commitment to advancing diplomatic interaction in this regard.

Both high-ranking officials reiterated their shared concern over the wider economic implications globally and particularly for emerging economies, stressing the paramount importance of resolving disputes through non-violent means.
