NDP to devise future course of action against Gwadar fencing: Baloch

QUETTA:Dr Abdul Hae Baloch, leader of National Democratic Party, has said that the recent decision to fence Gwadar city had been made by the selected rulers.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Tuesday, he said ruling elites with the help of state’s power intended to take control of the coastal belt of Balochistan, likewise the policy of separating Karachi from Sindh province was being pursued. Baloch said in the past, nationalist forces of the province had foiled the bid of grabbing Patfeeder Canal, Dera Murad Jamali and Hub city of the province in the name of developmental uplift.

“Brave people of Balochistan waged struggle against the new colonial system and now even the people of Punjab have also been gathered on the platform of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) against undemocratic rulers,” said Baloch.

He said that despite lapse of many decades, the country could neither become a sovereign and independent state nor could it become federal democratic state. He said National Democratic Party would devise a future course of action with regard to fencing of Gwadar city after consulting all political parties and others organizations of the province.
