The body of a newborn baby was found on a footpath near Nazim Model Park on Korangi No. 5 service road on Saturday, prompting immediate police action.
Awami Colony Police Station personnel reached the scene and conducted initial legal proceedings.
Later, the baby’s body was transferred to Jinnah Hospital for a medico-legal examination via an Edhi ambulance.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident has been initiated.
