No law contrary to Islam, constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan is acceptable at any cost: JUI-N

Rakni: Moulana Abdul Qadir Luni, Provincial Ameer, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Nazriyati), while announcing to observe Youm-e-Ehtijaj (Protest Day) on Friday the September 23, 2022 across the province against transgender act, has said no law contrary to Islam and constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan was acceptable at any cost.

He said that agents of western Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) were striving to flourish western culture in Pakistan, adding that the said act was ruination of Islamic culture and family system.

Luni said that all clauses of transgender act were clear cut rebellion against Islamic teachings, adding that devil’s projects were being imposed on Pakistan to ruin society.

He said that the said act did not mean to show sympathy towards any gender rather the said act was to provide protection to transgenders. He said the said act was passed during the year 2018 when Moulana Fazl Ur Rehman was allied with the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-N.

He said JUI-N would raise voice against the said act at every forum, adding that on September 23, 2022, day of protest (Youm-e-Ehtijaj) would be observed across the province, so that religious scholars could apprise the nation of the negative impacts of the said act and other devil’s projects. He said that JUI-N would soon announce protest sit-ins across the country against transgender act.
