Noshki tragedy: Balochistan CM orders compensation to victim families

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bughti on Sunday said that war against terrorism was not the war of security forces against terrorists rather it was the war of state against the enemies of peace.

These views were expressed by him while chairing a high level meeting at Chief Minister’s Secretariat Quetta regarding law and order situation in the province.

He said that all, including bureaucracy, politicians , civil and armed forces, judiciary and media, would have to fight the war against terrorism, adding that war against terrorism would be fought with shared responsibility and common way forward.

Bughti directed the authorities to ensure compensatting the heirs of martyrs within a period of seven days. Commissioner Quetta Division and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Rakhshan Division gave briefing about the Noshki incident.

Condemning the incident of Noshki, it was decided in the high level meeting to plan the security plan afresh in order to curb the occurrence of such incidents in future.
