Okara citizens’ rally in support of armed forces and ‘Operation Ghadab lil-Haq’

A large public demonstration was organized in Okara today to express solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan, paying tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the ongoing “Operation Ghadab lil-Haq” against miscreants.

The event was led by Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Usman Javed and MPA Mian Muhammad Munir. They were accompanied by DPO Dr. Asad Ijaz Malhi, PML-N leader Chaudhry Fayyaz Zafar, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Ahmed Saleem Chishti, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Chaudhry Abdul Jabbar Gujjar, along with a large number of other government officials and prominent community figures.

Officers from various other departments, members of civil society, and a large number of local citizens participated in the procession.

Participants in the procession, which started from the DC Office and concluded at Tank Chowk, carried placards and national flags. They chanted slogans such as “Pak Fauj Zindabad, Pakistan Paindabad” in support of the army.

During the demonstration, the armed forces were described as the cornerstone of the country’s defense, stability, and survival. It was stated that protecting the country’s borders is the state’s top priority, and this responsibility is being effectively fulfilled by the army.

The gathering took place at a time when the army is continuing “Operation Ghadab lil-Haq,” which was described as a successful campaign against miscreant elements. It was acknowledged that numerous army officers and soldiers have been martyred during this operation, and their sacrifices were honored.

The sentiments expressed at the rally conveyed the message that the public holds the armed forces in high esteem, as the guardians of the country’s borders and a symbol of trust and integrity.
