JAMSHORO: One person was killed in a bomb explosion in Jamshoro in Sindh Province in the wee hours of Thursday.
According to police, a bomb explosion happened in front of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) office in Jamshoro near Hyderabad in Sindh Province in the wee hours. As a result, Allah Baksh Khokar was killed.
Heavy contingents of police and Rangers rushed to the spot after the explosion and cordoned off the area. According to preliminary reports prepared by police, it was a remote control device. A tense situation prevailed in the locality. Further investigation into the incident was underway.
