One person killed, another feared drowned as boat sinks in sea near Keti Bandar

A bird hunting expedition turned into a tragedy when a boat carrying eight people from Karachi capsized and sank in the sea near Keti Bandar, resulting in one person dead and another missing. Rescue officials successfully pulled six people from the water.

According to details, the boat had started to take on water before capsizing on Wednesday, causing all eight passengers to fall into the sea. The group had come from Karachi to hunt in the coastal area.

The prompt action of local divers resulted in the rescue of six people, but two individuals went missing in the deep water after the incident.

The body of one hunter, identified as Asghar Punjabi, has been recovered. A search operation is underway to find the other missing person, Wahid Bakhsh.

Asghar Punjabi’s body was moved to a local hospital, where after necessary procedures, it was handed over to the heirs.
