OPEN COURT – DIG Islamabad Holds Open Court to Address Pressing Public Concerns

Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, organized an open court at his office, issuing immediate directives to resolve citizens” grievances.

A police report said today that the open court initiative underscores the commitment of Islamabad”s law enforcement to enhance public engagement. DIG Tariq highlighted the availability of the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715” for citizens to register their complaints, indicating a broader strategy led by IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. This strategy mandates all senior police officials to host open courts across the district, ensuring that community issues are addressed promptly.

Zonal Senior Superintendents of Police (SPs) have commenced open courts in their respective areas, reinforcing the police”s dedication to effective problem-solving and community outreach. Residents of Islamabad are strongly encouraged to utilize these forums to voice their issues, as resolving public grievances remains a top priority for local law enforcement.

The initiative reflects a proactive approach by the Islamabad Police to foster transparency and accountability, aiming to strengthen public trust and collaboration.
