Opening of electronics markets deferred for two days

Karachi:Associations of electronics markets in Karachi deferred the opening of their markets for two days on the request of Sindh government, here Friday.

Electronics Dealers Association chairman Rizwan Irfan told media that they have decided to defer their decision of opening their markets for two more days after having detailed talks with the additional inspector general of Sindh police and commissioner Karachi.

Now, the electronics markets in the megacity are likely to be opened by their traders from Monday, said market sources. They said that the traders are fully aware about the coronavirus situation, but they cannot survive economically if they opt to keep closed their markets for additional period of time.
