Sindh’s opposition leader, Ali Khurshidi, has expressed deep concern over the water shortage in the city of Karachi, criticizing the Sindh government. He stated that during the 17-year rule of the Pakistan People’s Party, there has been no improvement in the water supply to the city.
In a press conference here today, Ali Khurshidi said that the water crisis is not artificial but a result of the Sindh government’s mismanagement. He further stated that the tanker mafia has been given free rein, making life difficult for the public.
The opposition leader said that due to the government’s failure, people are deprived of basic necessities like water. He claimed that the Sindh government has turned Karachi into Karbala and left its citizens helpless.
According to Ali Khurshidi, the water shortage has left the citizens at the mercy of the tanker mafia, further complicating their lives. He mentioned that due to the incompetence of the Sindh government, neither water is available nor is there protection for lives.
