Our fight is for restoration of democratic environment: Fazal

LORALAI:Moulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, head of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of 11 opposition parties, has said their fight was for restoration of democratic environment, supremacy of constitution, independence of parliament and implementation of law.

“To achieve the desired objectives, all political parties of Pakistan have been united on the PDM platform,” he said while addressing a PDM public meeting in Loralai. The public meeting was also addressed by Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Chairman, Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and other political leaders.

Sea of people have an objective, an ideology and a demand, remarked Rehman, adding that people are the owners of Pakistan. He said, “Pakistan will not be allowed at any cost to become the colony of America.” He remarked that other countries of the region were proceeding on the path to economic uplift while our economy had completely been ruined.

“Those praying for the success of Modi should tell us as to whether the victory of Modi has solved the issue of Kashmir or Kashmir has been occupied. We used to talk about 85 thousand kilometer of Kashmir but now only 5 thousand Kashmir is being discussed,” said Rehman.

He said exemplary participation of people in the public gathering of Loralai was testament to the fact that people of Balochistan had rejected the products of rigging. He said: “Our fight is for restoration of democratic environment, supremacy of constitution, independence of parliament and implementation of law. In order to achieve the desired objectives, all political parties of Pakistan and nation habr been united on the PDM platform,” PDM chief concluded.
