LARKANA: Police arrested over 10 nationalist activists here on Friday when a dispute started between an Afghan hotel owner and them over closure of his business amid tense situation across Sindh after the killing of Bilal Kaka in Hyderabad.

According to a report, Jeay Sindh Mahaz held a protest demonstration in front of the Press Club for the arrest of the killers of Bilal Kaka and against Afghans settlement. The protesters shouted slogans and demanded immediate expulsion of Afghanis from Sindh in view of Supreme Court order.

Speaking on the occasion, leaders Zulfiqar Buledi, Ghulam Nabi, Munthar Bugti, Alam Khan, Irshad Ali, and Mor Khan said that the killing of Bilal Kaka was a national murder, adding Sindh is not an international orphanage as people from other countries are illegally brought and settled on the soil of Sindh which would not be tolerated any more.

They said that Afghanis should be expelled immediately while the killers of Bilal Kaka should be arrested and justice should be done with the blood of martyr Bilal Kaka. Meanwhile, a separate protest rally was taken out by the Sindh Sabha against the killing of Bilal Kaka, which went through different roads and reached the Press Club, where they staged a sit-in and raised slogans with placards in their hands.

On this occasion, Rashid Gadhi, Comrade Imran Gadehi, Qurban Chandio, Shahid Gadehi, Fida Hussain Sarki, Rashid Khaskheli and others said that the murderers of Bilal Kaka, a Sindhi youth who was brutally murdered in Qasimabad three days ago, should be arrested and hanged.

We immediately demand from the provincial and federal governments and higher judiciary to immediately order expulsion of all foreigners including Afghans from the country, otherwise, the scope of the protest will be expanded. They also demanded stern action against their supporters and facilitators.

Meanwhile, after the sit-in, Sindh Sabha leaders and activists reached Jinnah Bagh Chowk in large numbers, where they tried to shut down the businesses and shops of Afghani Pathans during which the hotel owner slapped one of the protesters in his face and a dispute started.

The police arrived in large numbers along with Rangers where the hotel owner apologized to the youth when the police officers intervened, while the police arrested over 10 nationalist activists and transferred them to the police station.
