Islamabad: A contingent from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), including JF-17 Thunder Block-III fighter jets and a team of air and ground crew, has arrived at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Saudi Arabia to participate in the multinational aerial combat exercise “Spears of Victory-2025.”

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the exercise features the participation of fighter jets and combat support elements from several countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, France, Greece, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The involvement of the PAF contingent highlights its commitment to regional and international cooperation. It also underscores the PAF’s capabilities to operate in challenging environments alongside contemporary air forces.

This marks the fifth cycle of the exercise hosted by the Royal Saudi Air Force. The event aims to enhance interoperability among participating air forces amidst technological advancements and shared aerial defense challenges.

For this international deployment, PAF fighters made a non-stop flight from their home base in Pakistan to Saudi Arabia. The aircraft carried out in-flight air-to-air refueling, demonstrating the long-range capabilities of the JF-17 Block-III.
