Pakistan and Bosnia have agreed to boost the parliamentary linkages

Islamabad, February 14, 2018 (PPI-OT): Pakistan and Bosnia have agreed to boost the parliamentary linkages to explore the avenues for enhanced bilateral ties for mutual benefit of the people of both the countries. This was deliberated in a meeting of Sakib Foric Ambassador of Bosnia with Chairman Senate of Pakistan Mian Raza Rabbani here on Wednesday at Parliament House.

Chairman senate said that both the countries would like to establish strong cooperation between the Parliaments of two countries. He said that parliamentary diplomacy can play an important role in building the socio-economic ties. He said that both the countries may further enhance interaction benefiting from gains achieved at the common forums.

Both the sides agreed to activate parliamentary friendship groups and decided that Secretariats of the parliaments would devise modalities for exchange of delegations and sharing experiences. Ambassador invited the Chairman Senate to visit Bosnia on behalf of Chairman Senate and National Assembly of Bosnia. Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani also reciprocated and invited Chairman Senate of Bosnia to visit Pakistan.
