Pakistan Army’s response to Afghan Taliban is a clear declaration of protecting national sovereignty and security: Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan

Prominent religious and political leader Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair has said that the Pakistan Army’s response to the Afghan Taliban is a clear declaration of protecting national sovereignty and security. He strongly condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Iran, calling these actions a deliberate plan to sabotage regional peace talks and isolate Tehran. He criticized the United Nations’ silence on the matter, terming it alarming.

The President of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan and Milli Yakjehti Council today urged the international community to take serious notice of the escalating tensions and take immediate and effective measures to prevent further destruction and instability. He emphasized that such aggression cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.

Dr. Zubair stressed that the challenges facing the Muslim world require Islamic countries to set aside their mutual differences and demonstrate practical unity and solidarity. He argued that the “tricks of America, the cunning of Israel, and the craftiness of India” can only be countered with a joint strategy.

Speaking on the recent Pak-Afghan developments, he described the Pakistan Army’s response against the Afghan Taliban as a clear declaration of protecting national sovereignty. He advised both Pakistan and Afghanistan to adopt a peaceful and dignified path to ensure regional harmony.

He warned that continuous bilateral tension is not in anyone’s interest and will only promote instability, creating an environment that external powers can exploit.

To foil the potential conspiracies of Israel, India, and the United States, Dr. Zubair said it is essential for both “brotherly Islamic countries” to find solutions through wisdom, tolerance, and diplomatic negotiations to prevent harm to the unity of the Muslim Ummah.

He concluded by demanding that the Government of Pakistan take effective measures at the diplomatic level to resolve border issues on a permanent basis, making the region a “cradle of peace and stability.”
