Pakistan today issued a strong call for the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and an end to the occupation of Palestinian territory, stressing the urgency of a fully implemented ceasefire without any unilateral military actions.
Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly Debate on the Question of Palestine, Pakistan”s Permanent Representative, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, articulated the nation”s steadfast position on the conflict.
The ambassador reiterated the demand for the Palestinian people to be granted their inalienable right to self-determination, culminating in the establishment of their own independent State.
Ahmad confirmed that Pakistan supports all sincere efforts aimed at halting the bloodshed, safeguarding civilians, and preventing further displacement.
He also emphasized that the reconstruction of Gaza must commence without delay, advocating for a comprehensive peace process grounded in international law.
