Pakistan Deports Over 920,000 Afghans Amidst Legal Crackdown

Pakistani government has deported 921,063 Afghan nationals, including those holding Afghan citizen cards, following the expiration of their stay deadline.

According to government’s TV reports, the authorities emphasize that legal measures are being enacted against those residing illegally, with a focus on dignified treatment during the repatriation process. Measures are in place to prevent any mistreatment of the deported individuals.

To facilitate the return, the government has arranged essential services, including food and healthcare, aiming for an orderly transition for the returnees back to Afghanistan.
