Pakistan FM in US to attend meetings of IMF, World Bank

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb is in the United States to participate in the spring meetings of IMF and World Bank.

During his stay, the Finance Minister will meet the IMF and World Bank officials. He is also scheduled to hold meetings with international media and think tank representatives.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb has underscored the government’s commitment to improving the business climate in Pakistan.

Talking to a delegation of the US Pakistan Business Council in Washington DC, he highlighted the government’s dedication to attracting both foreign and domestic investments in key sectors, including agriculture, IT, mines and minerals and energy.
