Pakistan and the Netherlands are set to explore potential collaboration in the digital media landscape, following a high-level meeting in the capital focused on navigating modern communication challenges and evolving global trends.
The discussions took place between the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Media, Fahd Haroon, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Pakistan, Robert-Jan Siegert, according to a report by MOIB today.
During the engagement, the two officials exchanged views on the growing significance of digital platforms for public outreach and deliberated on a range of topics, including cooperation in the broader media sector.
Mr Haroon provided the Dutch envoy with an overview of Pakistan’s ongoing initiatives to modernise its media and information frameworks, aiming to align them with international best practices.
In response, Ambassador Siegert commended Pakistan’s efforts and formally expressed his country’s interest in pursuing knowledge-sharing opportunities and future cooperation within the digital media sector.
