Pakistan Rangers arrest 3 members of a gang involved in multiple criminal incidents

Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) today arrested three members of a most-wanted criminal gang involved in multiple incidents of robbery and street crime during an intelligence-based operation in Gulshan-e-Hadeed.

The paramilitary force identified the arrested suspects as Asif Ali son of Karim Bakhsh, Muhammad Yaqoob son of Achar Ali, and Muhammad Irfan son of Fateh Muhammad.

During the raid, authorities recovered two motorcycles, three mobile phones, a passport, a bottle of liquor, and an unspecified amount of cash from the suspects’ possession.

A spokesperson, sharing details, stated that the arrested individuals are part of an organized gang involved in numerous incidents of mobile phone snatching and armed robberies in various areas including Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Double Road, Soomar Goth, National Highway, and Malir.

The suspects can be clearly seen in Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) footage of several incidents.

Authorities have confirmed that the individuals are habitual offenders, with multiple First Information Reports (FIRs) previously registered against them at various police stations across the city.

The arrested suspects, along with the recovered items, have been handed over to the police for further legal action.

The Rangers have also appealed to the public to immediately report any information about such criminal elements to the nearest check post, the Rangers Helpline 1101, or the Rangers Madadgar WhatsApp number 03479001111. The force has assured that the identity of any informant will be kept confidential.
