President Asif Ali Zardari has underscored the strengthening relationship between Pakistan and Myanmar, pointing to expanding cooperation in key sectors including defence and trade.
In a congratulatory message on the occasion of Myanmar’s 78th Independence Day, President Zardari highlighted the traditionally amicable and long-standing association between the two countries, noting that these ties have consistently evolved over time on behalf of Pakistan”s government and people.
Tthe formal communication, addressed to Myanmar’s Acting President, Min Aung Hlaing, extended warm wishes to both the leadership and the populace of the nation on their independence anniversary.
The president identified several domains of increasing collaboration, specifically mentioning advancements in commerce, defence, healthcare, and cultural ties, alongside enhanced people-to-people exchanges.
